Environmental Impact Assessment
Since its founding AKRF has been at the forefront of analyzing and documenting environmental impacts pursuant to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), and City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR) guidelines, among other requirements like New Jersey Executive Order 215.
AKRF has been pivotal in defining the state-of-the-art for environmental impact analysis, playing an important role in preparing the original CEQR Technical Manual as well as subsequent updates. Other specialties include evaluations in accordance with Section 4(f) of the U.S. Department of Transportation Act of 1966 and Section 6(f) of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, and more.
Our projects are known for the accurate documentation of potential impacts, and for the clarity and accessibility we bring to highly technical information. This makes the environmental information more accessible for the public and decision-makers. Moreover, with a wide range of technical disciplines in-house, we can mobilize a team of specialists to address any of the issues that typically arise during environmental review.
