Celeste Evans Joins AKRF in New York City

AKRF is excited to welcome Celeste Evans as a senior technical director for environmental and land use planning in New York City. Celeste is proficient in the management and performance of environmental planning, analysis, and documentation pursuant to New York CEQR/SEQRA requirements. She was also a principal author and project manager of CEQR Technical Manual updates, and created the Short and Full Environmental Assessment Statement Forms with the new Part II CEQR Checklist.

Celeste  has extensive technical and institutional knowledge of the project approval process in New York City, and formerly served as Deputy Director and Senior Project Manager with the New York City Department of City Planning’s Environmental Assessment and Review Division. Her project experience includes the Greater East Midtown Rezoning, Western Rail Yards, 53 West 53 & MoMA Expansion, and VIA 57 West, among other signature projects throughout the city.
