Eyre Park Greenway Opens in Chester, PA

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on September 10, 2020, for the Eyre Park Greenway in Chester, PA, incorporating a revitalized walking path with stormwater bioretention swales, tree plantings, grade corrections, ADA accessibility improvements, and rebuilt stormwater outfalls that drain to the Chester Creek. As a consultant to HDR, AKRF provided construction administration for the greenway, and also created and issued the performance specs and supported the bidding for a new vacuum truck and street sweeper for ongoing maintenance of the greenway by the Chester Stormwater Authority.
