Freshkills Park North Park Opens in Staten Island

The first section of Freshkills Park, the 21-acre North Park, opened to the public. AKRF has been working with NYC Parks on this project for nearly 20 years, including strategy planning for redevelopment design with Field Operations, environmental review of the reuse plan, transportation planning, and environmental permitting.
