I-81 Viaduct Project Draft Design Report and DEIS Released

The I-81 Viaduct Project Draft Design Report and Draft Environmental Impact Statement was released by the Federal Highway Administration and New York State Department of Transportation, marking an important milestone in addressing the facility’s deficiencies and non-standard features while creating an improved corridor through the City of Syracuse. As a subconsultant to Parsons, AKRF managed preparation of the DEIS and associated technical studies. We also supported the NHPA Section 106 review and supported alternatives analysis and prepared detailed natural resources inventories.
