In-Water Construction Begins on Living Breakwaters Resiliency Project

In-water construction commenced on Living Breakwaters, a federally funded coastal resiliency project along the southern shoreline of Staten Island. AKRF provided environmental review and permitting services; developed sampling protocols for water and natural resources; and completed consultations with federal agencies and developed mitigation alternatives.
