Transforming one of the largest stretches of undeveloped New York City-owned land
AKRF is acoustical consultant for the planned transformation of St. John’s Terminal at 550 Washington Street in Lower Manhattan to provide 1.7 million square feet of office space and tenant amenities for the new “Google Hudson Square” campus. Our responsibilities include all building acoustic review during schematic design, design development, and construction documents; noise E-Designation consulting services including the preparation of a Noise Remediation Action Plan and Noise Installation Report; and inspections and site visits during the building’s construction. Design of the office building features concrete, exposed metal elements, and factory-mullioned windows. AKRF also serves as environmental consultant for the building.
