Marissa Tarallo, PE, PTOE

Marissa specializes in microsimulation and innovative roadway and traffic signal design, including Adaptive Traffic Control Systems, as well as the preparation of traffic impact studies for single- and multi-use development projects. She is a trusted traffic consultant for municipalities throughout New York's Hudson Valley and Connecticut.

Marissa has served as project manager and lead engineer for various development and roadway improvement projects for both public agencies and private developers. She has developed numerous microsimulation models for a variety of projects such as traffic signal phasing improvements and optimization as well as ATCS, and has a comprehensive understanding of traffic signal systems, including design, installation, controller programming, optimization and troubleshooting. Marissa served as project manager for design of the first ATCS in the New York State Department of Transportation’s Hudson Valley Region.

She excels at presenting her work to technical and non-technical audiences and has been a featured speaker at Institute of Transportation Engineers conferences.
