New Jersey Wind Port

“The New Jersey Wind Port will create thousands of high-quality jobs, bring millions of investment dollars to our state, and establish New Jersey as the national capital of offshore wind,” said Governor Phil Murphy in June 2020. AKRF is providing environmental permitting and regulatory support to PSEG and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority for the proposed New Jersey Wind Port in Lower Alloways Creek Township, New Jersey. The multi-phase project will bring offshore wind marshalling and manufacturing activities adjacent to the PSEG Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station along the Delaware River. Our work includes securing permits with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
