New Jersey Wind Port

The New Jersey Wind Port is a transformative, hub-style marshalling port project that will serve offshore wind projects in New Jersey and up and down the U.S. East Coast. AKRF is providing environmental permitting and regulatory support to PSEG and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority for the proposed port in Lower Alloways Creek Township, New Jersey, adjacent to the Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station along the Delaware River. Our work includes securing permits with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. AKRF has also provided environmental consulting services to PSEG for the implementation of a subsea survey and benthic sampling program. The groundbreaking ceremony was celebrated in September 2021.
