Patrick Parault, PE

Patrick is an engineering leader in the planning, permitting, and design of New York City’s infrastructure for stormwater and resiliency.

His extensive experience includes implementation of New York City’s MS4 permit, for which he oversaw drainage assessments and recommended stormwater control measures for over 400 sites, and the Citywide Stormwater Masterplan, under which analyses were performed to understand the impact of future rainfall and sea level rise on communities within Queens and Brooklyn.

Patrick has leveraged his nearly 20 years of hydraulic modeling and stormwater planning background to support New York City in securing $176M of grant funding for resiliency programs, including East Side Coastal Resiliency. More recently, through the Financial District and Seaport Climate Resilience Master Plan, Patrick served the City in identifying improvements that will respond to the hazards of climate change and more intense storms, while improving the quality of life for all New Yorkers.
