Henry Kearney, P.E., is a Senior Vice President and Director of the Air Quality Department specializing in air quality analysis for environmental review and air emissions permits and regulatory compliance for stationary and mobile sources.
He directs air quality studies for a wide range of public- and private-sponsored land use actions throughout New York City, including large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, cultural, and civic projects. Henry also leads air quality analysis and permitting for power generation and transmission projects and transportation and infrastructure improvement programs. He provided technical assistance to the New York City Department of Environmental Protection in updating the air quality methodology for the New York City Environmental Quality Review Technical Manual, the guidebook for all environmental impact assessments citywide.
Henry earned a bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York. He joined AKRF in 2002.
